[She settles with a leg on either side of him, that balance and counterbalance about the only thing keeping the two of them upright. If he hadn't held her so close, she would fall backwards and take him with her.

She breaks the kiss, her breathing as labored as though she'd been running.] Sorry, I-- [Why was she always apologizing? Shut up, Sansa.] It's a great deal more than I've done in a while.

[ He wouldn't have minded falling back onto the couch with her too, but he does like the feel of her above him like this. Her weight above him and the feel of her legs on either side of him.

There's a soft groan as she breaks the kiss, but he gives her that little bit of space. ] You have nothing to apologize for, Sansa. [ Fingers tease through her hair gently. ] We don't have to go any further than this if you don't want to. Can just stay right here, kissing and having you warm in my lap.

[starksansa]

[Maybe the best thing is knowing he means it, and that she's right to trust him. She embraces him like she had when she first arrived, but it's much more intimate than that. She rests on his shoulder, enjoying the light tugs of his fingers through her hair.]

I've felt like I was losing my mind. You know?

[scaledwolf]

[ His arm rests along her back, hugging her to him. Dipping, he kisses her temple as his fingers in her hair continue to tease and offer her comfort. He does mean it. If she wanted to just stay the rest of the night just like this, he'd be completely content to do so. ]

I'm glad to be able to help you know that you're not losing your mind. I'm right here with you in these wants.

[starksansa]

That's a relief.

[As though the way she'd gone from tense and ramrod straight to draped against him didn't make that obvious. She even sounds lighter.]

[ He smiles down at her, enjoying this and easily relaxing underneath her. Her solid weight feels good above him, and it's definitely even better that she's so relaxed with him like this too. ]

A pleasure even maybe.

[starksansa]

That would be something new.

[She looks up at him, maybe a touch braver now that they've kissed and the world didn't fall down around them. (That will be a later date, a voice in the back of her head says.)]

How long?

I'm happy to help you explore new things, if you want.

[ He knew the world wouldn't fall apart around them, but he's glad that she's feeling braver. He's brave enough that he'll dips to steal a soft, chaste kiss. Sweet almost. ]

I'd say forever, but that probably sounds weird since we've grown up together. But, for a long while now. You?

[starksansa]

I don't really know, honestly. [Her brows furrows, as she tries to think back. Even if they were raised together, they hadn't been close like him and Robb or Arya.] Before Ramsay.

[scaledwolf]

[ Their relationship had always been a very different one. But it's that difference that led to being here like this.

There's a frown that slides over his features at the mention of Ramsay, and he kisses her very gently. He hates how that bastard treated her. ] I'm sorry I couldn't keep him from hurting you.

[starksansa]

[She tries to interrupt him before he even finishes.]

No, don't be, it-- [She takes his face in her hands.] He's gone, he's done. Forget him. I am. [Or trying, anyway.]

[scaledwolf]

Alright. [ His fingers slide gently along hers, encouraging them to come off her face so she'll look at him. His features are soft, and he'll kiss her nose gently when she does look at him. ] What would you like to do with the rest of our night?

[starksansa]

I just want to be close to you tonight.

[She's about spent all the bravery in her reserves. Revisiting the bondage conversation may need to wait.]

[scaledwolf]

[ His hand shifts to slide along her spine, keeping her close to him. ]

I'm right here, and I'm not going anywhere.

[ Now that they've gotten this far, he's sure that conversation will come up again eventually, when it's the right time. ]

[starksansa]

[She easily moves into another embrace, inhaling deeply.]

Thank you.

[It feels like something slightly ridiculous to say, but she's deeply grateful, and happy]

[ It's not ridiculous to say, but he doesn't need her to thank him either. He kisses her hair as he settles them into the couch. He'll even tug a blanket over them a little to make them more snuggly. ]

You never have to thank me.

[starksansa]

[She fits nicely against him, and the blanket makes it all the cozier.] Fine. You'll find me the most ungrateful person ever.
