It really would be. You're my savior. [ His arm settles around her waist after he closes the door and he leads her over to the couch. It's not a long walk, and yet he feels the need to keep her close by his side for the walk over. ] Did you want to watch something or talk or just stretch out and chill?
[Sansa doesn't find it strange -- if anything it's comforting and she unconsciously leans into it.] Um, I'm easy either way. What were you watching before?
[ His heart beats just a little faster for that lean into him, and his thumb teases along her side where it's resting. ] I was watching some of the Marvel movies that Netflix had available. Just finished Avengers Age of Ultron.
Well, who doesn't love a Marvel movie? [That's a rhetorical question, because there were two types of people in the world: people who loved Marvel movies and people Sansa didn't need to waste time on.] I could go for one of those, unless you were thinking of something else.
[ He grins instead of answers that question, shifting to flop down on the couch and pull her right along with him as he grabs the remote off one of the cushions next to them. He's definitely of the mind that Marvel movies are a must. ] I'm down for doing another. Black Panther or Dr. Strange?
Mm, I like Black Panther better. [Settling in beside him -- comfortably close but not weirdly close -- is easy and natural. She smirks at him then.] But I'll hear arguments for Dr. Strange.
I like both, so if you like Black Panther better, no argument from me. We can watch that one. [ Trying to pick his favorite among the movies is hard for him. So instead of making a case for Strange, he just pulls up and starts Black Panther. ]
[ His arm settles along her shoulders gently as she leans into him, and he hugs her to him gently, chuckling. ] I haven't either. I've got it amazon'ed to arrive tomorrow though. You're more than welcome to hang around until it arrives if you want.
I thought it might. [ She can always borrow something of his to sleep in, and he does have a guest room free for her to use, though he also wouldn't object if she wanted to stay close in his bed. ] It's the best, honestly. All the plus, no waiting.
[ Pending the people, absolutely. Impromptu Sansa sleepovers, completely. ] That will be the day. But then we'll have more time to watch all the movies.
[ Weellll his arm settles along the back of the couch, so curling up against him is totally a silent invite for her. ] We'll finally be able to catch up on all the movies and tv shows we'd otherwise never be able to see.
Ugh, but they just keep making more. [She's joking, that's really not that big of a hardship.] And if you're like me you're rubbish at choosing and end up watching The Office for the fortieth time anyway.
But we like the more, it gives us more to watch. [ He grins at her, arm sliding to tug her into a small hug. ] Well, at least we know what to expect from The Office.
[ It's an easy embrace that shifts a little to just lazily keeping her close while they rest on the couch, the movie starting to play in front of them. ] Right now it's still perfect, so I'm totally down for it.
[She hums her response, ready to sink into the movie and forget life for a couple of hours.
There is food, and wine, and offhand jokes and comments about the movie and the world it existed in -- but she falls right back into her spot under his arm, where she fits remarkably well. The credits start to roll and she finishes her second glass of wine.]
You know what I wish they could make? A good X-Men movie. There hasn't been one since the first.
[ It's an enjoyable movie, made all the better with the company. His fingers toy with a few strands of her hair gently as he tilts his head to look down at her, her warmth and weight feeling like she belongs there, if he's being honest. ]
I've heard Dark Phoenix was kind of a let down, unless you wiped away the slate and just enjoyed it as it's own little movie? I have yet to go see it though, but I think it's out of theaters now.
I always like to see myself before letting opinions form.
[ He chuckles and can't help it as he gives her temple a soft kiss. ] It's a little late to try for a movie tonight, but we can totally do that tomorrow if you want?
[Her stomach jumps a little when he kisses her on the head, for no real reason, or at least none that she could bring to entertain for more than a short moment.]
After Captain Marvel it or before? [She's smiling but pulls a little bit of a face at the same time.] You're gonna get real tired of me.

why do we need to let them go?! O.O unless you wanted to start a different one elsewhere. =)

WE DO NOT! I've just played with some people who don't like a time jump? Idk. Onward and upward.
Date: 2019-06-18 10:14 pm (UTC)I haven't seen it either. Maybe we can find it in one of those little one-screens out in Nowheresville. [She laughs then.] Or we can wait for Amazon.
I'm good with nearly anything.
